Job Descripition:

To develop, implement, monitor and improve the Solvay Health, Safety and Environmental policy, processes, systems and programmers (excluding medical responsibilities) within the Group and/or its entities (SBU’s, companies, sites) and to ensure the dialogue with all stakeholders on these matters, in order to guarantee that activities and products reach the level of performance imposed by authorities, regulations and voluntary commitments. It includes:

? Ensure prerequisites are fulfilled

? Develop and implement HSE policies, goals, procedures, tools and programs

? Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, procedures and programs

? Ensure the dialogue with authorities, the local communities, the personnel and other main stakeholders on HSE matters

? Provide information, support and expertise to the organization at large

? Manage the activity of the HSE entity

? Manage the HSE staff

Desired Qulification:

? University degree in Science and/or Technology or equivalent by experience

? Prefer “Registered safety engineer”

? 5 – 10 years of experience in an industrial context.
