Key Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Involvement in many projects related to packaging optimization from the definition of the requirement, production at supplier, connection with design and quality, supply chain and in store operations optimization

2. Development of packaging and its specifications in cooperation with suppliers and the Own Brand Management team

3. Optimisation of existing packaging

4. Implementation of sustainable packaging materials and sustainable solutions in Own Brand products

5. Administration of laboratory and functional testing

6. Administration of regulatory compliance assessments of packaging

7. Support of complaint and incident management

Qualifications

Education:

1. University degree in packaging technologies related subjects

2. Retailing or FMCG environment or Packaging Industry

Experience:

1. At least 3 - 5 years of working experience in retail or FMCG environment or packaging Industry

2. Experience in active or intelligent packaging or with bio degradable packaging would be an advantage

3. Experience in the collaboration with external laboratory and technical packaging testing

4. Experience in general technical education

Skills and Competencies:

1. Knowledge of local packaging standardization and legislation  

2. Good knowledge of MS Office

3. Excellent English communication skills

4. Good presentation skills

5. Team orientation

6. Ability to work with data and statistics, develop PowerPoint and work in cross functional teams

7. Ability to work independently and on several projects simultaneously
