The TSP Datacenter role adds value by:
1. Successfully driving the win rate versus competitors within assigned Virtualization and Server platform opportunities through the delivery of technical sales engagements (ADSs, POCs, etc).
2. Developing a bill of materials and architecture that feeds into a solution proposal.
3. Developing partner engagements that feed the Virtualization and server platform opportunity pipeline.
4. Developing partner enablement and readiness for assigned opportunities.
5. Convincing customers with competitive products that Microsoft has a technically superior solution.
6. Ensuring that self-readiness, the readiness of other TSPs and team members are maintained for supported solutions.

The TSP Datacenter role is unique in:
a. Executing superior technical engagements (POCs and ADSs).
b. Focusing on opportunities, delivering value within specified MSSP parameters.
c. Engaging at deep technical levels within assigned opportunities and being able to translate how Virtualization and Server platform technology solves business problems.
Qualifications:
? 3-5 years of related experience
? Bachelor’s Degree required
? Familiar with Microsoft Datacenter solutions such as System Center and Virtualization.
? Strong sales aptitude with the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of a product or technology.
? Experience in an environment where customer contacts and knowledge are leveraged to listen proactively for upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
? Deep technical skills with the ability to translate the feature and function set into customer solutions and win against the competition.
? Working proactively within assigned opportunities to uncover and qualify new opportunities.
? Communication skills as described in existing Job Ladders and Job Descriptions, with a particular focus on adjusting the topic and technical sophistication to the audience
