Purpose:

¨ Provides leadership and direction to team of Quality Auditors and suppliers to ensure compliance to adidas quality standards and produce desired results.

¨ Coordinates Quality Auditor team so Liaison Office work process is supported by availability of technical inspections needed to produce goods according to customer requirements.

¨ Supports the timely resolution of technical issues according to adidas standards in order to achieve quality and delivery objectives.

¨ Implements best practices and the introduction of new processes and technologies to support continuous improvement in quality.

Key Responsibilities:

¨ Identifies all Liaison Office Quality Auditor staffing requirements and ensures all positions are staffed with qualified individuals.

¨ Provides direction for inspections and adherence to quality standards within Liaison Office in accordance with adidas-Salomon AG and regional standards.

¨ Assesses and upgrades Quality Auditor competencies through the implementation of regional training programs and individual development.

¨ Uses WiP reporting to coordinate timely inspection scheduling and efficient deployment of resources.

¨ Directs sampling support for Production department within Liaison Office as proscribed by current process (i.e., Counter Sample and PreProduction Sample).

¨ Directs technical inspection support for Production department within Liaison Office including product appearance, color and trim match.

¨ Oversees accurate inspection of Labeling & Packing standards.

¨ Establishes effective communication between Production, external suppliers and internal business partners <FAD> to resolve quality problems, including communication of risks to delivery.

¨ Applies own skills and experience to assist Quality Auditors resolve quality issues during bulk production, and seeks out the expertise of others as necessary.

¨ Is aware of Standards of Engagement requirements and provides supplemental oversight of supplier compliance to these standards.

¨ Produces monthly Quality Audit reports and analyzes data to identify opportunities for performance improvements through training and follow-up.

¨ Contributes to passing responsibility for quality, including final inspections, to our recognized vendors through Certified QA Program.

¨ Implements programs and tools for supplier development to achieve continuous improvement of product quality and production performance.

Key Relationships:

¨ Direct supervisory responsibility for Quality Auditors. Collaborative relationship with Technical Manager and/or Technicians.

¨ Internal service provider to Production department.

¨ Key role in providing feedback and direction to suppliers.

¨ Some interface with Regional Head of Quality Assurance on training and implementation.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

¨ Minimum three years experience in apparel manufacturing or quality assurance, preferably within Asia.

¨ Degree or certificate in Textile and garment Studies or Textile Engineering, or equivalent related technical experience in the areas of sourcing, bulk production, knitting and printing.

¨ Ability to identify issues, analyze facts and make quality decisions.

¨ Strong management and leadership skills

¨ Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken. BULATES level 3 ore equivalent

¨ Good IT/EDP skills.
