职位描述
Position Summary
- Oversees and is responsible for the upper and tooling engineering activities of new footwear products from sample reviews stage through commercialization and including production.
- Maintains connectivity with the product through the initial production phase and sets the product operation standard process (SOP).
- Monitors daily commercialization schedule to ensure on time T process and reports to manager and communicates the summary and deviation from plan by working on weekly commercialization and engineering report.
- Support Columbia innovation in the technical side. Lead tooling and process engineering innovation by collaborating with shoe factories.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a technical, engineering, or industrial design field.
- 8 years footwear experience in a footwear engineering discipline or product creation with a global brand, 10 years experience if no degree.
- A strong understanding of the principles of pattern engineering, costing, quality implications, model making, part drawings, and manufacturing processes.
- Project management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated leadership capability including the ability to motivate and mentor others within the working group.
- Demonstrated skill in problem solving and results orientation.
