Responsibilities
As an Assistant/Associate Manager with the Business Development team, you are responsible for coordinating the company business development activities and external relations. Examples include:
?Assist with the partnership initiatives of HMP’s lead drug candidates.
?Manage key internal drug development projects and external collaboration projects.
?Develop a strategy for screening in-licensing drug candidates and research technologies.
?Manage HMP’s electronic and physical due diligence data rooms and accounts.
?Prepare and participate in technical due diligence engagements.
?Produce valuation models for both internal assets and potential in-licensing products.
?Conduct market research on selected oncology and auto-immune diseases.
?Create case studies on specific topics in biotech and pharmaceutical industry.
?Update contents of the corporate website, brochure, posters and drafts press release.
?Assist grant application teams to draft and edit grant applications.
?Construct business case proposals for significant capital investments.

Qualifications
We are looking for confident and capable individuals that are highly motivated with strong communication skills, particularly in English. The ability to work independent and as part of a team is essential.
?Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and ability to distill information into concise summaries, while retaining the most important points.
?Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
?Excellent oral and written English and fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
?Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and punctual.
?Strong team player, but also a self-starter and able to think independently to find solutions.
?Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.
?Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant major.
?Strong interest in business and medicine preferred. Familiarity with the life science business or drug discovery and development process is a plus.
?1-2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or an in-house business development function preferred.
?Proficiency in cash flow modeling and an understanding of valuation measures preferred.
