GENERIC INFORMATION ON THE FUNCTION
Job Title: Regional Supply Chain Process Improvement Assistant Manager
Location: Panyu
Reports to: Regional Supply Chain Planning & Process Improvement Manager
Department: Supply Chain
DIMENSION OF THE JOB
Nr of direct subordinates: 1-2
Direct financial responsibility:
Other quantitative information: Manage Regional Supply Chain Process Improvement Initiatives to Support the APAC Grow Strategy & Target
Global/regional/local function: APAC
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Supply Chain Process Improvement
? Analyze, identify and implement initiatives generating process and performance improvements
? Drive the continuous improvement of the Supply Chain through enhanced usage of our IT platforms and through operational improvements
? Lead and support key supply chain projects to achieve project objectives and establish / improve supply chain and operational processes
? Manage Business Process Owner (BPO) activities to support key SAP (and related systems) Supply Chain process development
Lean Supply Chain Management
? Lead/Support the development of Supply Chain Lean models & strategies; lead the implementation of Lean initiatives; build Lean planning & service delivery systems; Assess Lean KPI and drive improvement actions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Education: Business/Engineering/SCM Degree,
Experiences: Min 5 years experience in industrial-focus MNC, preferably with 2 years of supervisory experience
Good supply chain project management leadership
Asia Pacific supply chain management experience
Working knowledge in chemical industry an advantage
Know-how/skills:
Knowledgeable of latest supply chain management models & tools
Excellent presentation & interpersonal skills
Strong business acumen
Expertise in Project management tools (Microsoft project)
Expertise in SAP & Microsoft Office Suite
Fluent in English and Chinese
