Purpose: We are looking for a General Manager to take the full responsibility for the full operation of the JV.The position is based in TaiAn and reports to the Board of Directors in the JV. The joint venture will be responsible for sales, after sales and installation of cranes and hooklifts. It would also be responsible for R&D and production of truck cranes’ key parts and truck crane assembly.

Job Description:
* Execute the Company`s strategy and manage the JV in Tai An
* Actively work together with the Factory Operation Manager as well as the R&D and Engineering Manager to ensure that the R&D-, engineering- and operation units are operated efficiently.
* Increase the cranes and hooklifts sales and after sales through our partner’s sales channel in China and also create new channels
* Work together with Factory Operation Manager to improve material planning, purchasing and logistics to make sure that there is always a sufficient flow of raw-material and parts to secure production/ assembly on the line
* Work together with the Operation and Quality Managers to further develop in-line and final inspection routines (responsibility of Operations mgr)
* Ensure efficient installation and maintenance process for our products
* Together with the Operation Manager and all other relevant departments, work on continuous improvements of production processes and production efficiency, with a target of cutting cost and improving delivery times.
* Together with Operation and the Quality function supervise quality standards and delivery performances
* Together with Quality department manage the maintenance of quality systems and quality certifications.
* Working with the Operations Manager to ensure further development of the local supplier network, and logistics systems (inventory/warehousing/distribution)
* Through relevant departments manage the local distribution and logistics
* Keep close contact with the Customer Center in order to schedule enough production capacity and ensure delivery on time to customers
* Together with the Customer Center work actively with customer satisfaction. Investigate customer complaints and take corrective action when necessary
* Establish factory’s administrative system, HR and financial reporting systems.
* Together with the Business Controlling department ensure that Profit and revenue targets as well as other KPI are reached and the cost control is efficient within the organization.
* Work actively with further development of the middle management team
* Work actively with maintaining and further developing the company culture and retention of people
* Recruitment of management personnel
* Competence development of the staff in the company. Support and grow
* Ensure that the company and the staff are acting in accordance with Chinese Laws and regulations.
* Ensure that company regulations are followed among the staff in the different departments.
Requirements:
* University degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Ability to build, develop and manage the company
* Ability to build strong teams who are dedicated to deliver good quality on time
* Extensive Experience from manufacturing, logistic and/ or assembly management
* Ability to develop himself and his subordinates
* Ability to motivate and develop staff
* Ability to built relationships with key players in the organization both internally and externally
* Ability and willingness to take unpopular decision for the good of the company.
* Excellent Communications and leadership skills
* Knowledge of both western European and Chinese business and organizational culture.
* Good presentation skills
* Good command of written and spoken English
* Honest and responsible
* Experience from working in a foreign company environment
* Experience from working in Joint Venture
