Scope of Role:

Support sales team to achieve 2011 budget and contribute towards the revenue of SME Banking
? Quantitative analysis and qualitative evaluation customer applications via designated data input procedures;
? Apply best efforts and experience to make recommend submissions based on acceptance/rejection product criteria;
? Evaluate risks based on in-depth analysis of complex financial data and thorough understanding of customer's industry, business cycles, and other relevant factors;
? Get familiar with credit risk policy and related data-driven decision tools;
? Seeking appropriate credit approval according to related credit approval structure;
? Provide pre and post sales services to ensure smooth disbursement and help boost utilization of our Bank's products, services and credit facilities;
? Compliance and CDD administrative maintenance and monthly returns

Key Responsibilities/Challenges:

? Ensure applications submitted are of a good quality;
? Learn and understand all relevant regulations and internal Product, Risk & Compliance policies and procedures
? Handle general incoming enquiries from internal and external customers
? Facilitate account opening and drawdown, fulfillment of required documentation including company search, credit checking, valuation report, compile regular reports
? To comply with Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and be alert at all times to unusual or possibly suspicious customer activity, and should report any suspicious activity to the respective Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and line manager as well as directly to the Country MLPO in urgent or exceptional circumstances.
? Handle spreading of balance sheets for new customers/ prospects
? Compile regular and ad-hoc reports for Sales and Services Team
? Prepare simple correspondences
? Provide administrative support and assist in delivering sales initiatives jointly with BFMs
? Maintain database on client contacts made via Customer Service Hotline
? Assist Marketing Team for particular product launch, customer events etc as and when required
? To do any assignment/special project as per assigned by supervisors

Qualification & Skills Expected

Degree in any field preferably Finance, Accounting or Banking preferred
Hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, and goal oriented
Good command of written/oral English and Mandarin
Good PC skills in particular MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint
Independent and meticulous
