POSITION Sales Manager/Senior Sales Manager - Dairy
LOCATION Shanghai
REPORT LINE General Manager – Dairy Division, China
Be responsible for achieving business targets & ensuring sustainable business performance. Focus on China market.
Should be able to gain industry insights, develop business strategy & manage operational excellence with minimum supervision.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Broad responsibilities are enumerated below -
Strategic & business development
1. To plan annual objectives along with product team (including medium term objectives)
2. To identifying business opportunities / new customer base
Process & system orientation
1. Adherence to systems for operational reliability
2. Regular review & reporting (within China & overseas)
Outcome orientation
1. To focus on & drive budgeted KRA
2. To seek suitable options for assured & consistent performance as exhibited in forecasts
Sales & business management
1. To monitor expenditure / overheads in line with the budgets
2. To liaise with staff & key customers to ensure smooth operations
3. To ensure competitive sourcing & aggressive selling whilst complying with company policies
Industry networking
1. To maintain good rapport with key industry stakeholders
2. To build customer stickiness & key client service
MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES
Effective communication skills (Bilingual - Mandarin & English)
Strong administrative ability
Problem solving
System-orientation
Analytical skills
Knowledge of accounts/numbers
QUALIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE /EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum University / graduation with at least 8+years of work experience in China Dairy Industry (of which at least 3 years should be handling managerial responsibilities)
2. Have a proven record and experience of managing customer base & key accounts (end users, industrial clients, institutions or traders)
3. Have the necessary planning and organizational skills to achieve targets, review business, manage operational systems & process within defined policies
4. Be able to provide role clarity and ensure teamwork amongst staff
