SENIOR MACHINERY ENGINEER
Work Location: Beijing
(may be required to work on job sites)
Position Summary:
The responsibilities of the Senior Machinery Engineer (Sr. Technical Professional - Mechanical) include:
· Responsible for the technical quality of the Data Sheets, Specifications, and Technical Requisitions for Rotating Equipment and Packaged Equipment.
· Prepare estimates for KBR proposals; Assist with estimating, staffing, schedules, and communications.
· The assignment includes specification, technical bid evaluations, vendor document review and coordination, field troubleshooting, vendor shop visits and vendor qualification for critical rotating and packaged equipment. Also assist in training of new personnel.
Requirements:
Familiarity with industry standards for rotating equipment: API, NEMA, ASME, IEEE, IEC, ALPEMA, PIP etc. Prefer experience in an engineering company or design institute dealing with packaged and rotating equipment: compressors, pumps, steam and gas turbines, packaged equipment, etc.
Prerequisites:
· Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or Masters
· Minimum 5 years machinery experience within the chemical, refining, and/or synthesis gas industries
· Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and a team player with pro-active attitude.
· Fluent in Chinese and English languages (both written and oral)
