Responsibilities

Promote a safe work environment by observing unsafe work practices or machine hazards and providing corrective action;

Produce quality parts that meet or exceed costumer and company approved specifications;

Ensure adequate staffing to fulfill customer call-off requirement;

Lead the subordinated employees from professional & disciplinary point of view

Carry out training management for shop floor staff;

Complete necessary paperwork including but not limited to accident reports, performance appraisals, productions, scraps and downtime reports;

Participate and facilitate contiguous improvement 5S and standardized work in all areas of the workshop to meet company set standards and targets;

Supervise and coordinate the production area to ensure a contiguous and timely production management meeting quality goal, defined by the company.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Associates degree or equivalent manager experience;

At least 5 years automotive experience, preferably in a supervisory role;

3 years experience as Production Manager/Supervisor;

Strong human relations, organization, planning and problem solving skills;

Be familiar with chassis and / or welding processes.
