Position:CAD Engineer

Report to:Technical Director

Location:Shanghai

Responsibility:

- Creation of adequate design concepts for evaluation and ensures
internal and customer requirements are met.

- Implementation of weight and cost optimization of units within
the deadlines

- Support the implementation of optimization suggestions

- Checks and verifies compatibility with existing packages

- Preparation of result presentations and involvement in project

- Meetings

- Supports the AQP (Feasibility studies, FMEAs etc.) and the project team;s decision making process

- Suggests alternatives / solutions to achieve targets and provides required data for pre-calculation

- Releases drawings and models for prototypes and serial productions

- Supports prototype manufacturing in terms of hardware compilation in cooperation with the FEM

- Gives support in terms of innovation ideas and new projects

Experience:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor / Master)

- First experiences in automotive manufacturing environment.

- Good command of English or German in speaking and writing

- Knowledge: Catia V5, product development.

- Must have experience in Chassis system and its components.
