Position Summary:
The QA Manager is responsible for the continual management of Product Compliance for all Products sourced by Omni GSS. The person will be the main point of contact for Omni’s Sourcing and Sales Departments and will liaison with Product Test Labs, with respect to all Product Testing related activities, such as obtaining Product Testing Quotes, advising on applicable Testing Protocols, etc., and will work directly with Vendors and Factories to ensure all products are tested per US Federal and State level regulations, Omni GSS requirements and any other applicable prerequisits, associated with sale in the desitination country. With the assistance of the CAPA Team, s/he will also ensure that all factories associated with PO’s issued by Omni GSS, have current Social Acountability and Security Audits, with acceptable results and final scores, as outlined in the Omni QA Manual.
Position is based in Shenzhen, China.

Duties, Responsibilities and Expected Contributions:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Regulatory Compliance, this position will work to ensure Vendors / Manufacturing Facilities, are aware of and comply to, Omni GSS’ Product Testing Requirements, Social Accountability and Security / C-TPAT requirements. They will ensure all requirements are continually monitored and will advise both their Senior Manager and the Vendor / Manufacturing Facility of any potential issues. Will aid in the yearly training of staff and business partners to Omni’s - Quality Manual and associated SOP’s.
Product Compliance:
Will manage the quoting process for Product Testing.
Will create and manage Product Testing matrix.
Will work with the CAPA Team, to ensure Social Accountability and Security Audits are performed and acceptable results and final scores are recorded and filed.
Will ensure that all applicable products have GCC’s, COC’s, etc., filed prior to shipment.
File a weekly compliance report, which summarizes the week’s activities and status of each order, based upon Supplier / Factory.
Provide regular updates to Senior Manager regarding possible improvements to the working relationship between the Stamford and Asia office.
Develop an onboarding program for new Suppliers / factories, aimed at helping to build trust and confidence.
Develop a “Key Players” matrix, which clearly identifies the responsible individuals, per job function, for each Supplier / Factory.
Partner with Omni’s Business Managers, to understand what products are being developed and what Suppliers / Factories have been chosen to fufill PO’s.
Ensure vendors and factories are aware of the Product Testing requirements prior to PO’s being cut.

Additional job functions:
Work directly with Bureau Veritas to ensure all protocols are updated and available at all times.
Continuous education of the vendor and factory community, emphasizing the need to understand the regulations associated with the associated product’s destination country.
Continuous Education of vendors and factories, with respect to the requirements of Social Accountability and Security audits.
Manage the Omni Global Sourcing factory listings, ensuring up to date information is always available and accurate.
Will assist the Logistics team in Philedelphia and Shenzhen, to ensure that all C-TPAT forms are sent out to vendors and factories, that they are returned, filed and the record of activity continually updated.

Position Requirements:
a) Experience Required
University Degree is desired.
Minimum three years of industry experience.
Quality or Manufacturing Background with experience in working with 3rd party testing labs and audit companies required.
b) Attributes/Competencies
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Self starter with the ability to think and work independently while prioritizing workflow.
Ability to multi-task several projects simultaneously with close deadlines.
Detail oriented with very strong attention to detail.
Interpersonal Savvy
Ability to meet critical deadlines.
Computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite of products, especially Excel.
