Recruitment Position
Department: Global Sourcing China
Position: Buyer
Working Location: Shanghai, China
Reports to: Commodity Manager
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
? To manage each Purchase order in term of QCD under his scope with the suppliers in a daily basis and our sites buyer.
? To maintain daily contact with the suppliers and be the BT representative people in the supplier plant.
? To escalate critical issues to the management when necessary and present the overall performance of the suppliers under his scope.
? To participate in initial project phase with the commodity team and sites buyer
? To participate of all cost reduction initiatives as defined by the management
Qualifications and Requirements
? Bachelor degree or above. Electrical background is highly appreciated
? 1 to 2 years procurement experience in railway or automobile industry
? Experience in electrical engineering or signalling is highly preferred
? Strong interpersonal skills and communication ability
? Good command of computer skills, and familiar with Office software
? Good command of English (spoken and written) and Mandarin
? Acceptance of frequent business trips
