Title: China Parts Distribution Mgr
Supervisor’s Title: China Parts Operations Mgr
Number of Positions: 1

Basic Function: Brief statement indicating why the role exists and its function
- Management and control of:
- The Parts Warehousing, Distribution and Transport flows in China meeting dealers T&C.
- Depot Operating costs and efficiencies.
- Depot inventory accuracy and quality.
- Depot resources and efficiencies (inbound - depot housekeeping – outbound)
- China depot footprint efficiencies and cost Mgt.
Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Decision Making Authority: Outline the primary responsibilities of the position and the authority level of the position (i.e., budget approval)
- Managing the various China Parts warehouses and transport flows within budget and meeting service KPI’s.
o Inbound: Pipeline, receiving, packaging, putaway
o Housekeeping: Quality audit, planograph, inventory accuracy
o Outbound: Pipeline, picking, packing, shipping
- Managing Inventory accuracy & quality within budget.
- Management of resources across multiple locations and maximize Warehouse productivity.
- Manage the Transport flows, and inter-depot material flows meeting service levels and within budget.
- Manage, improve the China depot footprint, maximizing on cost/efficiency and supporting Sales &
Marketing requirements within the required timeframes.
Job Requirements: Describe the basic requirements of the position
Include: previous functional experience (# of years), technical skills/knowledge, management experience (# of years), key business experiences (i.e., turnarounds, P&L responsibility, international, start-ups), certifications, education, licensing
- Experience in Supply Chain, Component or Parts multi depot Mgt.
- Experience in Supply Chain footprint definition.
- Knowledge of China Import and Export requirements, and transport is beneficial.
- Good command of English required.
- Good communicator and able to present
- Ability to work with office software as excel, word, access, powerpoint.
- The ability and willingness to aggressively learn new things, take the extra step, bring ideas
to improve processes and consistently demonstrate a “can-do” attitude is required .
