Job overview
- Support Shanghai Africa Team – all with a view to provide our clients with second-to-none service and to maximize profitable business within the Container Business activities.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate to clients and Sales on service or rate changes/noteworthy news.
- Monitor performance/bookings versus budget to identify focus areas.
- Monitor the annual, quarter and monthly marketing plan input and provide tools for Sales’ update.
- Prepare ad-hoc performance figures for specific clients/trades/sales activities when requested
- Handle sales related internal and external visitors.
- Handle customer code batch transfer issue.
- Assist team members on rate-related issues as/when required.
- Prepare contracts and agreements and design rate sheets for shadow contracts
- Provide tools/information for sales to conduct market research.
- Handle dispute cases.
- Organize Special Cargo sales weekly meetings.
- Lead QTC process and coordinate with GSC
- Own Africa sales team’s process improvement and always create initiatives to achieve effective result
Measurement / success criteria of the position:
- Your ability to perform within your area of responsibility as outlined above.
- Your ability to work within team as well as independently delivering the best possible financial result for the Maersk CB in your area.
- Your ability to achieve the targets as outlined in the KPI deliveries.
