Our Global Offer team has an exciting opportunity for a high-performance individual to join us as a Senior Inventory Planner - China. Our aim in Global Offer is to drive and deliver the agreed levels of service and provide support for sales growth through keeping the inventory and order management status at an ideal level. The key responsibility for the successful hire for the Senior Inventory Planner - China is to work proactively to support the business growth by managing the order/inventory status and providing suggestion to the sales and customer service team through application of strong commercial effectiveness and the development of positive/collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders.


Key Accountabilities

· To manage customer related queries and escalate appropriately given commercial considerations
· Liaise with local Operations teams to support the management of overdue inter company orders
· To help drive reductions in backorders and on-time fulfilment of forward/scheduled orders
· Drive improved levels of customer service by effective application of best practice tools and processes and optimised deployment of resources.
· Drive improved and increased efficiency of process and optimising organisation design
· Represent the Inventory Offer team within the Market and build appropriate stakeholder relationships and manage proactively to ensure integration with the business area.
· Represent the Local Planners as primary interface with UK Liaison teams
· With the Regional Liaison Manager, interpret relevant Sales & Marketing strategies to enable and sustain effective levels of customer service provision and support.
· Develop and implement effective measures, metrics and controls that support improved business performance, drive cross functional engagement and maintain high levels of customer service.


Person Specification

- Degree level education or equivalent (preferably within relevant area)
- Supply chain or Customer Service or sales experience
- Strong customer service ethos
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English language
