MAIN RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Responsible for the sourcing activity on existing projects to meet requirements in term of cost, delivery and quality etc.
2. Cross functional responsibilities with internal stakeholders: R&D, Supply chain, buyers, quality teams, lean experts, support functions.
3. For the projects on hand, preparation and analysis on global / regional RFQ proposals / packages, supplier selection, negotiation and communication across purchasing organization
4. Drive and lead project sourcing strategy in terms of modular and some specific material category align with BU standard.
5. Besides sharing existing supply base, develop new supply for new project under agreed process.
6. Establish standard project sourcing reporting process internally or externally.
7. Work closely with existing material sourcing group to define the interface between project and daily business
8. Provide feedback to R&D from suppliers’ market screening, check the possibility on cost down from purchasing side.
9. Early integration in all project sourcing related procedure, to be a competent partner to all internal customers and suppliers

Education:：

Degree in engineering or professional training on mechanical technician.

Experience:

• 8-10 years experience as industrial sourcing buyer, international background is must.
• Expert knowledge in the management of project sourcing activities in respective categories on regional/global commodities
• Strategic understanding of the supply base market place, focusing China and Asia Pacific.
• Good knowledge of project sourcing process and manufacturing process
• Good understanding of quality standard and requirements.
• Knowledge of international company internal work flows and organizational structures

Languages：

Very high English skill level, communication- and presentation skills
