Job Summary Description:

Responsible for the quality, purchase, installation, maintenance and delivery of business systems, on schedule and within the prescribed resource limits, in accordance with departmental standards. May coordinates and trains a team of systems support staff. Work influences project quality and timing and have moderate impact on near-term business results.

Typical Responsibilities:

Part 1
Provides technical support such as trouble shooting, hardware repairing, software updating and virus cleaning to end-users.
Recommends improvement in programs and procedures to simplify or increase efficiency of operations.
Coordinates the purchase, installation and maintenance of hardware and software.
Coordinates with other functions to launch office automation systems.
Organizes appropriate training to end-users.

Part 2
Responsible for the quality, purchase, installation and maintenance of business and engineering systems and their application to end-users.
Responsible for design, analysis, programming and physical data modeling.
Maintains business systems in accordance with departmental standards.
Coordinates and trains a team of systems support staff.
