?DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Design & Manage Quality Systems from a preventive perspective.
2. Complain and other quality related failure incidents effective management.
3. Manage Quality Systems.
4. Supplier and co-packer certification.
5. Set specifications both for raw materials and finished product.
6. Manage sanitation and pest control programs.
7. Crisis management. Includes preventive and corrective actions.
8. Responsible for overall manage and drive continuous improvement of site quality & food safety system, in compliance with regulation/ISO standards as the minimum requirements.
9. You need to set up strategy and key initiatives for quality & food safety system maintenance, implementation, development and improvement, towards integrated, comprehensive & excellent Q&FS system.
10. To deliver the sound Q&FS system reports, to capture the status & improvement opportunity of Q&FS system, including quality period report, scorecard, Quality Incident/NC&CAPA report, etc.
11. You are to support the co packers' quality management with Region Co-packer/Quality team including new facility/equipment acceptance audit, quality feedback/complaint handling, etc.
12. Also you need to facilitate good collaboration internal and external of QA team. Work to synergize the resource of cross-function team and activate the ways of working.
13. You also need to provide drive, focus and compliance in activities associated with China regulatory affairs and food legislation, to identify and resolve technical threats to the business in China.
14. You will work closely with Factory QA managers to ensure all QS requirements and technical policies/standards are met, monitored, trended and reported.
15. Monitor changes to Chinese food standards (GB) and food safety policies that could affect out business.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
1. College degree in an engineering major such as, Chemical, Biochemical, Food engineering or Agro industry.
2. A master or PhD. Is highly desirable in science or business fields.
3. Bilingual English – Chinese (Minimum 900 TOEIC) .
4. Spanish is desirable.
5. Quality systems and tools such as: ISO, Total Quality Management, Statistical process control, HACCP, GMP, GFSI, BFSR.
6. Knowledge of local and international regulations regarding quality and food safety.
7. Experience in quality management, product traceability, continuous improvement tools, food safety, and mock / real recalls. Crisis management.
8. To be competent to the role, you need to have at least 4 years experiences in people management position in food/nutrition/pharmaceutical industry.
9. With Bachelor degree or above in food science/food technology.
10. Rich experience and strategy/systematic thinking in quality and food safety system, ISO 9001, ISO/FSSC 22000, GMP/HACCP, and food regulation.
11. Principle considerate, passionate, sense of urgency and action/result oriented. Self-starter, highly resourceful/creative and self-motivated, with dynamic proactive work style and with an eye for details.
12. Good interpersonal/communication skills, as well as negotiation and problem solving skills, the ability to interact effectively with personnel at multiple levels throughout the organization.
13. Fluency in both spoken and written English.
