QUALITY AUDITOR - HUANGDAO

Due to a rapidly expanding market in China, Fisher & Paykel Appliances (Qingdao) Company Limited have set up a WOFE manufacturing operation in Huangdao. We already have an enviable reputation for innovation in the design and manufacture of world-class motors as well as appliances using highly automated robotic production lines; we now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Auditor to join our talented team.

What would you be doing?
Maintaining the calibration of all equipment and registers to meet specifications
Certifying that standards are complied with for new or existing products and processes
Conducting line audits, including: bearing bore dimensions, general dimensional and line walkthrough checks
Carrying out daily dimensional measurements, recording and data analysis
Performing quality investigations
Document control (CTQ and Calibration records)
Using a CMM and processing the data
Creating CMM programmes to inspect parts and assemblies
Auditing TPM daily
Ensuring process runs according to factory operating procedures and products meet specifications

What does it take for you to come and join us?
Mechanical /Electric majored with at least 3 years of proven performance in a similar role in a high volume, highly automated multinational manufacturing facility
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese
Previous experience working with plastic moulding and metal stamping
Demonstrated CMM programming and mini-tab ability
Knowledge of LEAN and Six Sigma principles
Capable of analysing issues, diagnosing and solving problems
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Have a “can do” approach and attitude
Be Vocational or Technical College qualified/certified
