LABORATORY TECHNICIAN and QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Job Location: Qingdao, Hetao Export Processing Zone

Reports to: Operation Manager

Profile Description:

- You have a college degree or above, preferably in Engineering or Chemistry, and minimum 2 years of working experience in a lab.
- You have laboratory skills, including ability to understand and analyze technical data and processes and prepare technical reports (in Chinese and English).
- You are able to work independently and you have a disciplined approach to problem solving.
- Knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel, in order to produce certifications and enter data into a database for analysis.
- You are able to work effectively with different levels of individuals and groups (both in English and Chinese).
- You have knowledge and you enforce safety regulations. Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g. UL, ANSI, etc) is a plus.
- Familiarity with following lab equipment is a plus: gauge, sheet punching machine, aging oven, hardness tester, grinding machine, microscope…

Job Description:

This position is responsible for collecting and testing samples of products to determine compliance with standards.

Key Activities:

- Perform analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, product samples and finished products using different analytical methodologies/instrumentation.
- Determine conformance to specifications. Ensure all test methods are compliant to the regulations of the applicable standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and calibration of instruments. Keep test equipment used in lab calibrated per applicable standards and in proper working condition. Perform maintenance on equipment.
- Effective communication with manufacturer and with Operation Manager (in English and Chinese).
- Maintain an updated daily log. Record all data and results accurately (in English and Chinese). Interpret and present test results to QC Manager in an effective manner.
- Produce documentation and technical training for testing, machine operation, quality, safety and best practices (in English and Chinese).
- Identify and specify specialized new test equipment to support customer needs.
- Assist the Operation Manager in Quality Control management and in lab samples management.

工作描述

主要任务：

* 协助运营经理做质检和实验室样品管理。
