电气工程师绘图员E&I Draftsperson - Qingdao

Jord International is an international engineering company specializing in the design, manufacture and supply of process equipment into oil, gas, petrochemical, power generation, mining and general process industries. The company has regionally based equipment manufacturing facilities including Australia, Malaysia, Korea, China, Middle East and India.

As a result of rapid and strong growth, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to work in our Qindao office. The E&I Draftsperson is responsible for total engineering deliverables and technical accuracy of all electrical, instrument and control systems in the projects. They shall assist in carrying out the FAT test and organise E&I testing requirements at shop/site as assigned from time to time. Complete work shall be carried out in compliance with the Jord ISO system.
Responsibilities:
? Attends KOM and prepares the list of specification/design discrepancies/missing design information
? Create & Issue the Electrical & Instrumentation diagrams and cable schedules timely and accurately
? Review specifications, drawings, calculation, new ideas etc while developing detailed drawings
? Track and maintain the minimum electrical installation inventory stock at the workshop
? Prepares electrical engineering estimation sheets and resource requirements
? Prepares a project-specific list of deviation proposals
? To work and produce output within agreed planned dates and within budgeted hours
? Ensure all pertinent input data is available to complete the necessary tasks
? Perform electrical design and analytical calculation using governing codes and standards
? Checks input / output data and ensures for quality output in terms of accuracy and presentations
? Prepare the electrical components procurement BOM
? Clarify and resolve electrical engineering issues with shop /client through design /project engineers
? Create and maintain company and reference standards for electrical designs and procedures
? Strive for reducing cost and lead time of design and manufacturing process
? Research design options and document findings for optimization of products
? Coordinate outside design activities to ensure they are synchronized with in- house design activities
? Sourcing domestics suppliers, handling technical queries and liaising with third party certification bureau
? Report any critical risks to the E&I Engineer

To be considered for this position you will need to demonstrate:
? Graduate tertiary engineering qualifications in Electrical/Instrument Engineering.
? Demonstrated competency in hazardous area installations and relevant industry codes and standards
? Minimum of 3 years of experience as a E&I Engineer/ Draftsperson
? Proven track record with the design, construction, maintenance and delivery of projects
? A good understanding of the project delivery process
? Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
? Must be able to work cross functionally with team members at all levels across multiple departments involved in different projects
? A proven ability to think creatively in optimising designs
