Mission:

• Application of Group Standards APQP with suppliers
• Validation of Supplier components on time vs. project milestones
• Work with Engineering and R&D for the definition of critical characteristics that need to be controlled by the suppliers
• Contribute to the definition of FMEA (Design, Product, Process, Assembly, Logistics) and control plan by suppliers

Responsibilities:

• Provide to the site and Activity recommendations on the Supplier capabilities before being selected as an FT supplier
• Has the authority to refuse the selection of a supplier for a project, based on quality criteria
• Validate with purchasing network that technical requirements are updated and are containing especially Design standards and critical characteristics definition
• Respect strictly the SQM (Supplier Quality Manual) and validate the AQPP deliverables
• Raise to Project Quality and Project Purchasing all technical issues encountered by the suppliers requiring a modification of the drawing or specification
• Perform Process Audits at suppliers to qualify them or in case of major incidents (0km, Warranty) affecting customers
• Support SPQ Activity Manager in the preparation of the Top Worst Suppliers meetings when supplier improvement is required
• Responsible for the key indicators :
• IS approved on time vs. initial project time-line
• APQP steps respected (supplier side)
• Incidents recurrence at project phase and in serial production (follow up and involvement during 1^st year)
• Perform Process audit for projects
• Implement project audits vs. customer’ requirements
• Implement project audits vs. AQPP
• Work with Engineering and R&D for the definition of critical characteristics that need to be controlled by the suppliers
• Contribute to the definition of FMEA (Design, Product, Process, Assembly, Logistics) and control plan by suppliers
• Train and develop suppliers to Quality tools such as FMEA, APQP and Quality basics (5S, work instructions…)
• Knowledge of welding is preferred.
