Abdoolally Ebrahim Group is a 172 years old company established in Hong Kong since 1842. Our group is mainly engaged in trading of housewares products. To cope with our business expansion, we are inviting high caliber candidate to join us as Senior Business Development Executive/ Business Development Executive.

Senior Business Development Executive/Business Development Executive

Responsibilities:
1. Good in communication and negotiation skill to build and maintain good relationship with customer and supplier.
2. Overall responsibility in identifying new business opportunities, distribution channel and maximize sales opportunities for the business
3. Develop the company’s business (sales) strategy through having clear understanding and analysis of customers’ needs and profile.
4. Proactively develop a continuous flow of sales opportunities for both existing and new clients and achieve a high hit rate
5. Explore and Develop potential NEW customers in different markets and cultivate business opportunities and relationship with existing customers
6. Analyze current market situations and competitive activity to identify development opportunities by generating active enquires and interest through active product/design offers to customer.
7. Prepare and implement annual budget/action plan to achieve the sales target, and drive sales activities to achieve sales goals
8. Analyze and understand the customers/market needs and tailor marketable product development solutions jointing with the product development team.
9. Stay up to date with product ideas and solutions and work closely with the product development to continuously strengthen the AEHL unique product portfolio.
10. Source and develop vendors with suitable capabilities to become long term strategic vendor partners.
11. Develop annual marketing and promotions activities such as participation in fairs and exhibitions, and actively participating in all the necessary preparation efforts.

Business Development Requirements:
1. Degree holder in business related discipline
2. Entrepreneurial with key business development skills
3. Experience in Kitchenware/Housewares products is a plus
4. 3-5 years or above working experience in International Sales and new product development, less experience may be consider as Business Development Executive.
5. Team player with positive attitude and mind-set, independent, hardworking, self-motivated, proactive and detail minded
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; good project management and customer service skills; good presentation skills and strong negotiation skill with clients / vendors
7. Fluency in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) and English is a must. Fluent in Japanese is an advantage
8. Occasionally travel overseas is required
9. Willing to work overtime and under pressure
10. Position will be based in HK
