Position Description

Accountability for the extrusion coating machinery capability, design, troubleshooting, moving, upgrading, purchasing and retrofitting across the global business locations. This position will coordinate the standardization of equipment specification, executable actions and improvement plans.
? Ensure our extrusion coating processes and machinery performance are performing optimally.
? Work with machine manufacturers for technical breakthroughs and exploration to fit to our industry and products.
? Lead individual projects to purchase machinery, major and minor components to improve machinery and process capability and performance and lead the commissioning, testing and own the performance of the machinery.
? Lead and project manage machinery upgrade and installations
? Search the global market for new and used machinery for existing and new technology.
? Coordinate machine capacity, capability and performance conditions.
? Work closely with new product introduction process to ensure we have the right equipment, right process to produce the produce that meet specifications and targeted costs.
? Lead and document FMEA analysis and ensure that we have a proper processes, repair parts to minimize equipment failures and downtime..
? Establish a proactive preventative maintenance process and program.
? Independently analyze, verify mechanical design and solve technical problems using scientific approaches, such as mathematics, physics, prototyping, tolerance analysis, CAE, FEM, simulations, DOE, etc.
? Prepare test plans, carry out experiments and draw conclusions for engineering experiments.
? Make sound suggestions based on technical findings and task requirements.
? Design fixture and calibration systems for high precision mechanical assemblies.
? Support cost reduction and continuous improvements of processes.
Ensure all machine has all of the safety equipment needed to operate the equipment safely and in compliance with all local regulations
Minimum Required Qualifications

? University graduate – Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering, Science or related disciplines, Master of Engineering is preferable.
? At least 5 years’ solid experience in extrusion machinery installation and commissioning at a leadership level.
? Excellent project management experience
? Strong sense of responsibility with good analytical skills, flexibility and detail-oriented.
? Proficiency in written and spoken English.
? Excellent PC skills, with proficiency in MS Project, MS Powerpoint and MS Excel.
Travel: Travel will be required for this role and would include international travel.

? Proven experience leading a machine design projects, installation..
? Sound knowledge of international quality standards and processes
? Experience in troubleshooting equipment, finding creative solutions and ensuring machinery operate at optimal levels
? Solid experience with developing machine specifications and operation manuals and documenting standard work instructions.
? Familiarity working with machine manufacturers in various markets and developing requirements.
? Capability of providing options and addressing the pros and cons.
? Strong leadership and management skills in leading people but working as a team.
? Ability to quickly resolve issues and effective root cause analysis.
