Requirements:

Education & qualification

Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Master Degree is preferred.

Experience

Minimum 15 years of power electronic control design experience, candidates with direct motor control design experience is preferred.

Special skills, language or personality

Good communication skills in verbal and written English.

Possess good critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.

Able to plan and organize and make sound decision.

Have the ability to influence, motivate and lead a team.

Be a team player, confident, resourceful and works well under pressure.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and oversee COM/RES electronic engineering team functions.

Prioritize and plan team's objectives and tasks.

Manage resources to accomplish objectives and its tasks

2. Lead the team in planning and implementation of NPD projects to support China and Asia Pacific market.

Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

Monitor progress to ensure goals and deliverables are met in terms of cost, quality and timeline.

3. Lead the team to support life test of COM/RES projects from China and North America. Monitor progress and review test data to ensure tests carried out meets the requirement.

4. Lead the team to provide technical support to electronic contract manufacturer, NMQC. Analyze and provide solution on technical issues related to the products

5. Provide coaching and mentoring to the teams.

Perform regular communication to team members on their performance.

Manage the performance and developmental needs of staff and handle the team annual performance review.
