Position: Buyer, Indirect Material & Services (IMS)
Location : Qingdao City, Shandong Province
Report to: Supply Chain Manager,Indirect Material & Services , North China
Overall Purpose of Job:
Responsible for procurement and strategic sourcing of assigned commodities, materials or services necessary to support TE Qingdao

Major Responsibilities:

· Responsible for sourcing and supplier management for assigned indirect material & services such as MRO, CapEx, Indirect Chemical, Facility, IT & Other Services
· Drive plant indirect strategies and actions to achieve budget and reduce cost
· Lead commodity RFQ & bidding project
· Work closely with Regional Supply Base Manager and internal customers in TE Qingdao to meet the savings target & prompt delivery
· Weekly review to Open Orders in system and eliminate the past due orders
· Manage supply base including creating or renewal of contracts, purchase orders or agreements
· Drive business plans and performance with top suppliers.
· Conduct supplier assessments for potential new suppliers
· Recommend cost savings proposal including make versus buy analysis, alternate sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria
· Quaterly review to the spendings & supply base
· Other workload assigned by supervisor

Key Competencies:
· Bachelor degree in business / mechanic or related discipline,
· High ethics points.
· Good in English, CET-6 is required .
· Above 3 years of experience in sourcing, preferably within indirect procurement. Talent with 2year experience can be accepted.
· Experience with global or regional sourcing processes and decision making will be an added advantage.
· Can work under pressure.
· Nice personal character, team player.
· Advance Skill in Microsoft office application. Knowledge about SAP is prefered
