PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Assist in the development of high quality software products that meet user requirements by arranging and administrating software testing and QA.
Report to:MIS Manager

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Identify software defects by overseeing and performing software testing and documenting results.

2.Ensure compliance of software requirements specification by creating test plans and other documentation that address all client requirements.

3.Encourage departmental process improvement by developing and implementing new procedures for standardization and metrics.

4.Keep senior management informed of MIS project status by updating all MIS status documentation on a regular basis.

5.Manage the configuration library to ensure orderly and secure control of all software and development assets.

6.Improving developer adherence to coding standards by administrating and organizing regular code reviews.

Competencies :
Detail oriented
Good documentation and organization skill
Good working knowledge of the software development process and software testing theory
Good English skills (verbal and written) and understanding of technical vocabulary
