Responsibilities and tasks

· Participate in Process Basic and Detail Engineering for offshore projects.

· Actively take part in Process design for topsides structures for fixed and floating offshore plants;

· Knowledge and ability to use advanced engineering tools for design, simulation and analysis;

· Planning of discipline work and progress reporting, highlight areas of concern, and take corrective action as necessary.

· Approve the discipline documents, drawings, reports etc.

· Understand Project Execution Model, be loyal to model and communicate this to discipline staff

· Assist Project/Engineering manager with tasks as required for project execution;

· Participate in technical meetings, design reviews / gate reviews

· Ensure the process design is in accordance with client requirements, scope of work, regulations, standards, internal procedures, work instructions and guidelines.

· Assist Engineering manager with tasks as required for project execution;

· Participate in technical meetings, design reviews / gate reviews

· Review other discipline documentation and coordinate with other disciplines in a multi-discipline environment;

· Supervise or follow-up Process design work performed by 3^rd party or subcontractors as required;

Qualifications & personal attributes

· Professional qualification as Process Engineer e.g. graduate Engineer, BSc or MSc

· Hold an official Oil & Gas Register Certification

· 8+ years’ experience from offshore oil and gas projects.

· Experience from large projects, 8,000+ tons

· Good knowledge of own discipline scope of work, main process and utility systems

· Experience from international projects where international clients have been partners in development

· Multidiscipline understanding and construction understanding.

· Fluent in the English language, verbal and written.

· Good communication skills
