Norway based EPC Contractor Kvaerner and Chinese Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC) are setting up a Joint Venture engineering company called Kvaerner COOEC Engineering and Technology (KCET) in Qingdao/Huangdao. KCET will target engineering Oil & Gas projects for international clients and international Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects together with COOEC yards.

Responsibilities and tasks

HSSE-QA Manager shall report to KCET General Manager. The main responsibility will be to develop, implement and maintain KCET operating system with focus on HSSE and QA systems for KCET and to support our projects with the same.

Typical areas of responsibility for this position include:

· Prepare policies, procedures and work instructions related to HSSE –QA to support KCET and our projects

· HSSE reporting for KCET and projects

· Establish Audit and Verification Plan for ongoing projects

· Verify compliance with Company and project QA/QC routines / procedures by organising and following up audits, management reviews, gate reviews and verifications according to the Audit and Verification Plan

· Support General Manager with operating system and executions methods as required

Qualifications & personal attributes

· Professional qualification at University level as BSc/MSc.

· 10 years’ experience in HSSE-QA

· Experience from offshore projects is highly valued

· Fluent in the English language, verbal and written.

· Good communication skills

· Team player

· Customer focus
