PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To determine product conformity to customer specification through independent inspection and tests in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. Identify non conformity for rectification and assure final resolution

Main Duties of the Jobholder
1. Appraise product quality in accordance with the Project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plan and determine conformity and non conformity. All inspection results need to be documented and if non conformity exist, documentation shall be raised to establish corrective action.
2. Provide interpretation of applicable code specifications and customer requirements. Any deviation, clarification and waivers are to be documented through the Site Query System.
3. Co-ordinate interface with Operations, Certifying Authority, Client, Job Sharing personnel and subcontractor assuring conformity to project specifications.
4. Perform field inspections of fitting, welding, painting, electrical and instrumentation in accordance with project specifications and scope of work as noted within the Project Quality Plan / I.T.P's.
5. Exercise proactive approach in prevention of a problem by interaction with Production, Engineers and Management personnel.
6. Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of Quality System outlined in Project Quality Plan / I.T.P.
7. Liaise with customer representatives ensuring product conformity and stage release for each activity denoted within the Project Quality Plan / ITP.
8. Confirm by effective audit and surveillance, adherence to applicable procedures and plans.

Requirement:
1.Relevant working experience (both Structural & Piping) in Construction & Fabrication Industry.
Degree in related discipline with experience to fabrication/projects as per codes & standards like AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3/B31.8, API-2A/2B, ASME B&PVC Section-IX/II(Part-C)/ VIII (Div-I, II), API 1104.
2.Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
Good technical writing and computer skills
3.Should be assertive towards implementation of QC procedures and the accomplishment of Quality targets.
Should have previous relevant experience.
4.Min. 3-5 years hands-on experience in QC Supervision (subcontractors & vendors supervision) for Project Shop/Site fabrication, Quality Control / Quality management responsibilities within Offshore Construction / Fabrication / Projects.
5.Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Metallurgy / Materials Science or relevant with Certifications for Welding Inspection: AWS-CWI or CSWIP3.1; NDT Level-II. QMS Internal Auditor.
