Summary:
Responsible for communication with customer contacts including external and internal customers. Creating a production schedule that will efficiently and effectively meet customer shipment dates. Continuously monitoring customer releases to adjust for schedule changes. Monitoring inventory to insure the proper levels are maintained on a regular basis. Assist the PC&L department in managing freight expense and avoidance measures. Managing individual part numbers through activities such as part set up and maintenance, revision level changes, launch and ramp up activities, and product end / balance out activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Import customer releases daily, through the Trans4m software system, to insure the most accurate information is being utilized.
· Populate and publish a production schedule that protects company and our customers from expedites and excess inventory.
· Work directly with Purchasing to insure the proper level of component inventory is available to meet production requirements.
· Take necessary actions to maintain the proper inventory levels of all finished goods. Insuring customer requirements are met on time without creating excessive inventory levels internally.
· Manage and maintain parts set-up screens in the Trans4m system, this includes maintaining revision levels, ship to screens, and purchase order information accurately and timely.

Qualifications:
To perform the job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily.
A Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of 5 years- experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, MRP, Word, MRP/EDI systems and methodology is required.
Good English skills both spoken and writing.
