Job Title: Product Manager
Reports To: Global Product Manager

Summary

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle. This includes working with marketing to gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with marketing, sales, engineering, production, and customer support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
The Product Manager understands application and customer requirements. Based on this background the Product Manager evaluates market opportunities including market size, competitive environment, market price and product cost and develops product requirements as input to the Global Development Team.
The Product Manager understands product concepts developed by the Global Development Team and is able to judge suitability for his corridor.


Responsibilities:

? Owns product implementation in the respective ADS Business Corridor (product launches, supply chain expansions, new products)
? Coordinates market intelligence, requirements, and corridor pricing structures
? Be an expert with respect to the competition
? Drives the product strategy and roadmap
? Delivers Marketing Product Specifications to Global PD Round Table with prioritized features and corresponding justification
? Ensure local representation and feed requirements to Global Development Projects
? Work with the General Manager for justification and prioritization of product adaptation requirements
? Cooperate with Global Design Engineers on implementation of local adaptations
? Coordinates product implementation with operations group
? Manages Product Life-Cycle in the corridor (initiation through decommissioning)
? Tracks product revenue to ensure forecasts are actualized
? Tracks product costs to ensure gross profit margin forecasts are actualized


Requirements:

? English language required
? Experience in working for an international company, being used to work with teams over distance, including phone calls and teleconferences
? Good verbal and written communication skills
? Analytical and data driven decision making
? Ability to summarize and present project definitions and business cases
? Proven ability to work with GMs, Sales managers and Engineering departments
? Computer skills, including typical MS Office application (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
? BS/BA in Business Administration or Engineering with profound marketing background.
? 3+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably industrial products, B2B.
