Abdoolally Ebrahim Group is a 172 years old company established in Hong Kong since 1842. Our group is mainly engaged in trading of housewares products. To cope with our business expansion, we are inviting high caliber candidate to join us as Senior Merchandiser.

Senior Merchandiser

Responsibilities:
1.Supervise a team of merchandiser/asst. merchandisers to handle the daily operations.
2. Handle sourcing, price negotiation, order follow up
3. Maintain the sales turnover on repeat orders
4. Ensure stability of buying and selling prices, find ways to increase the profit margin
5. Monitor order tracking activities to meet quantity, quality, price, order specification inspection and delivery requirements
6. Assist in preparing the relevant documents such as cost sheet, quotation, sales contract and purchase order; maintain and update system data, if required.
7. Work with factories, customer and Shipping team to ensure on time shipment.
8. Work with Engineering team and Quality team to ensure product comply with US, European and other countries regulation.
9. Source and review new supplier capability to establish long term strategic vendor management program.
10. Build and maintain good relationship with customer and supplier.
11. Train up a team of merchandiser/asst. merchandisers to improve efficiency.

Requirements:
1. At least 8 years of working experience in sourcing and merchandising
2. Experience in Kitchenware/Household items a big advantage but not essential
3. Strong negotiation and vendor management skill
4. Strong project management skill by working with different stakeholders
5. Dynamic, hands on and with "can do" attitude in a demanding fast paced environment
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Detailed-mind, responsible, self-motivated, willingness to learn, willing to work overtime and under pressure, and good team player with positive attitude
8. Fluent in both spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must
9. Frequent travel to PRC is required
10. Position will be based in Shenzhen/ Hong Kong
