The Role
AS a Commodity Manager,You should be working independently and responsible for sourcing electrical components in Mainland China. You should be strategic thinking about your business and reach company's cost down target annually. You should also have good vendor management skills and experience.

Report to: General Manager


Key Responsibilities:

--Develops long and short-term strategies for sourcing activities regarding electrical and relevant components
--Monitors and investigates Asia and world markets, and leads key negotiations with qualified suppliers
--Identifies cost saving opportunities from both commercial and technical view and evaluates cost reduction potential
--Guides and produces favorable contract terms and best-in-class pricing, which result in bottom-line financial savings and mitigation of risks
--Be responsible for establishing effective quality control measures by working in close collaboration with suppliers in APAC region and worldwide
--Monitors and improves upon the added value received through qualified suppliers
--Works in close collaboration with the Engineering, Quality Management and Production departments of the Headquarters and other subsidiaries worldwide

Qualifications and Requirements:

--Bachelor degree in electrical , with sound understanding of electrical and its relevant commodities
--Has at least 5 years of proven professional experience in sourcing electrical components in International companies
--Has a sound understanding of sourcing strategies and cost structures,as well as knowledge of electrical from technical and quality point of view
--Candidates with vocational training in Electrical require long-term experience in purchasing or another related area
--Possesses a confident manner and is skilled in negotiating contracts/agreements and influencing business decisions
--Good negotiation skills
--SAP knowledge is strongly desired
--Work experience in an international company would be a plus
--Must be willing to travel in China and internationally (on a regular basis)
