DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 1. The primary responsibility of this role is global Key Account Management of selected End-User & OEM accounts. Prepare detailed Key Account Plans and develop a deep understanding of these organizations and their concerns/requirements surrounding instrumentation products.

2. Drive the instrumentation specifications for the selected end-user account(s), on either a project specific or a generic basis, to ensure our inclusion on relevant vendor lists and approved material lists, and to track the relevant valve packages via the global OEM supply chain.

3. Identify a product development strategy to address the concerns/requirements of key customers, and drive these development plans through the Norgren organization, backing them up with well-justified business cases.

4. Promote the range of products into the Engineering Contractors within China.

5. Participate on our Global Project Team and coordinate activity alongside other members of that team to ensure a truly global coverage into projects which span multiple countries or continents.

6. Launch new Norgren products into the selected accounts

7. High integrity and connectivity to the global energy / power generation team as to work very close to global KAM Siemens, Alstom, GE and others.

8. Travel frequently within the China, including to the sites of end user, engineering company and OEM account. May require travel to offshore locations.

9. Produce a project database to track each project and to liaise with our team-members around the world to ensure that we are maximising the potential within each opportunity.

10.Produce detailed global forecasts for the sale of all products into the selected accounts

11.Present detailed technical proposals to selected customers

12.Other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Degree in Engine Engineering or Turbine Engineering preferred and ability to demonstrate comprehensive technical understanding of solenoid valves and their application within our target market & applications

2. Minimum 5 years experience in selling engineering products into Power Generation / Gas & Steam Turbines manufactory markets and a minimum of 2 years experience in selling valve automation products.

3. Demonstrate ability to work unsupervised for extensive periods

4. Experience working closely with key End-Users like Shanghai Turbines, Hangzhau Turbine, Donfang Electric Company, Nanjing Turbine and Harbine Turbine Company.

5. Demonstrate experience in Sales Management, preferably within an international role within the Power Generation sectors
