Job Description
- Lead and develop the company assigned client accounts. Prepare and achieve the pre-determine client account shipment volume or budget
- Prepare the Electronic Style File (ESF) in the Trakwizard system and create COP in the MIS system. Maintain client EDI as necessary
- Lead and involve in the product development and pre-production sampling stage. Provide design guidance and offer quality/technical suggestion
- Review and assure samples meet the necessary specifications
- Negotiate price on the client behalf and offer best in class product to the clients
- Sourcing and developing new vendors that meet the client’s requirement
- Maintain client and vendors relationship
- Prepare necessary documents, quote sheet and etc as required by the client
- Brief and assure all vendors are following the company and the client manuals and requirement
- Lead and work with buyers at the factories during the buying trips;
- Track and diagnose production problems and work with factories to present alternatives to both buyers and management;
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Account / MIS / Shipping and QA to ensure smooth work flow for order follow up and inspection
- Perform specific tasks or projects as assigned by the manager
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary educated in related disciplines;
- 8 years or above experience in buying offices / agents;
- Familiar with the US and UK furniture market trend and requirements; UK market is preferred
- Good command of English and Mandarin;
- Service oriented with attention to details;
- Market oriented with research and product development abilities
- Willing to travel extensively and work independently
