Job tasks工作内容:

- Understand fabric mills and vendors’ new development and capability;

- Keep Soft line / Hard line Connor merchandising teams updated with market trends and new developments;

- Maintain dialogue through participation in seasonal buying meetings and cross-functional meetings with Connor merchandise teams;

- Learn Client individual brands’ needs, price structure and margin parameters;

- Manage materials/fabric, trims and accessories selection; supply regular updates and give design aspiration to clients by means of trend books and presentation;

- Where required, travel with Client design teams to visit competitor stores within the US/Asia to further identify opportunities to meet the design and brand requirements;

- Maintain cross-functional dialogue with merchandise teams and vendors to organize vendor visits;

- Work with vendors to develop samples from design pack for client approval;

- Monitor the update and maintenance of material/ fabric/trims library;

- Supervise color team (pertaining to Soft line) in handling color approval on behalf of clients.

Job Requirements岗位要求:

- Tertiary educated in fashion / home design, textile / clothing;

- At least 5 years of similar working capacity with US/Europe retailers;

- A strong sense in fashion (Apparel & Fashion Accessories / Home) trend with an eye in defining color / print, yarns / fabrics, trims and body trend cut-outs to provide design ideas to clients;

- Able to compile fashion (Apparel & Fashion Accessories / Home) trend reports / presentation board in an organized manner;

- A broad sourcing base of materials / fabrics, trims and accessories in Asia;

- Excellent communication skills in collaborating with technical and product management teams in working with factories to prepare samples and presenting trend information and design ideas to clients;

- High proficiency in English;

- Willing to travel
