Responsibilities and tasks:

· Participate in Piping/Layout Design for detail engineering projects;

· Actively take part in PDMS modelling and extraction of design deliverables from PDMS (3D CAD);

· Piping/Layout PDMS design engineering tasks may include: 2D/3D design and detailing of topside piping arrangements and equipment layouts for jackets, floating offshore platforms and onshore plants; management and planning of Piping/Layout 2D/3D activities; follow-up of engineering and fabrication.

· Piping/Layout PDMS support and development of junior designers.

· Assist discipline lead with tasks as required for the Piping/Layout discipline;

· Participate in technical design reviews / gate reviews of studies, tenders and EPC projects;

· Interpretation of design and CAD standards and application to design deliverables

· Review other discipline drawings and supplier drawings;

· Checking of design with particular emphasis on interfaces with other disciplines, operational requirements, constructability, maintainability and HSSE aspects;

· Provide drafting 2D CAD support and deliverables as required;

Qualifications & personal competencies:

· Professional qualification as Piping/Layout Engineer or Designer e.g. graduate Engineer, BSc or MSc.

· 5+ years’ experience from project(s)

· Experience from large projects 8,000+ tons

· Significant knowledge of PDMS for Piping/Layout, including

§ PDMS 3D Design.

§ PDMS CATALOGUES & SPECS

· Good overview of own discipline scope of work

· Multidiscipline understanding and construction understanding.

· Experience from Piping/Layout design/engineering in off- and/or onshore oil and gas projects.

· Experience from international projects where international clients have been partners in development

· Fluent in the English language, verbal and written.

· Good communication skills
