Position:Site Engineer (General) -Location Huangdao, Qingdao

Report to : Site Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The role holder is responsible for:

Act as the connecting link between Site and Home Office, single point of contact for subcontractor and for home office on engineering tasks all disciplines.

Site Engineer will be the connection between Engineering and Construction at site and need to have good knowledge of the SoW, site area, company & contractors engineering deliverables and project schedule.

MAIN TASKS:

Site Engineer, Roles and Responsibilities:

· Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site

· Assist in solving technical problems that occurs during execution of installation at site.

· Consult technical issues at site fabrication area

· Assist in interpretation of drawings, drawing revisions, specifications and procedures.

· Handling of technical clarifications, deviations and queries with respect to Company provided engineering.(TC)

· Fill in and manage company change control system (CCS)

· Flawless. Q captain engineering

· Monitor necessary documentation upon delivery’s from subcontractor. I.e. Ship loose items, marking of items, verify status in MIPS.

· Follow up and check out of register information and MIPS status update according to contract

· Preparing reports as required and participate in relevant meetings.

· Participate in Punch out before delivery

· Handle and communicate as built-information with KST Engineering

SKILLS.

Good knowledge and understanding of drawings, contract specifications, project execution and understanding of project interfaces.

· Be able to work independent and in team.

· Good attitude and service minded.
