职位描述

Position: PDMS Administration and support

Location: Huangdao, Qingdao
Report to:IT Manager


Main responsibilities

Assist Detail Design department to become international class and work efficiently with engineering software. Administrate the KCET engineering applications, give support to PDMS engineers and do general IT support. The support of the 3D modelling tool PDMS will be the most important part of the job, so the employee will receive training on PDMS support/administration to be the company PDMS expert

The candidate need to be able to quickly learn new applications and understand their use and support/administration.


Typical work tasks

· PDMS project support with tool setup, daily assistance to engineers and monitoring.

· PDMS interface to other applications, maintenance and development of these interfaces

· Assist project management with improvement of engineering working methods for the engineering team

· Be main contact point with the application vendors for support questions that require help from the vendors.

· Keep application documentation up to date.

· Keep track of versions, configuration, licenses, cost...

· General IT support


Profile / experience

· 3 years oil&gas offshore engineering design experience

· Education or experience with construction, piping/structural, marine/naval systems.

· Experience from PDMS modelling or similar 3D tool and/or PDMS support experience.

· Knowledge/experience of IT infrastructure such as

Database services

Office product suite

Network

· Good team player with social skills.

· Strong English language, verbal and written.
