QC Supervisor will work for Matalan.

Job role
To manage the daily running of the QC department ensuring all deliveries are checked and all necessary relevant documentation completed in a timely manner.


Key Responsibilities

1. Advising direct reports on product quality standards ensuring that correct products are put on hold.

2.Ensure products on hold are dealt with and pending decisions are chased in a timely manner.

3.Liaise with Head Office when referring on hold product whilst obtaining a timely response where appropriate.

4. Produce weekly documentation, including on-hold and productivity reports.

5.Guide direct reports to training programme content, reviewing progress of staff training against competencies.



Skills/ Qualification/ Experience Required

1. Previous experience of Product Inspection

2. Management experience preferable

3. Good communication and organisational skills

4. Highly motivated with the ability to motivate others

5. Attention to detail

6. Ability to work under pressure
