Job Description: Senior Process Engineer
Responsible for manufacturing process setting up, modifying and improving, coordinate with internal engineering team to resolve any production process issue; summarize the production capacity model, define process cycle time, and propose the shop floor/process cost reduction plan; responsible for equipment utilization rate (OEE: original equipment efficiency).
Skills/Qualifications:
- A minimum is a Bachelors degree in Engineering
- Experience of 5 or more years in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of 3 or more years managing process in shop floor
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience in CAD/3D models
- Training provided Ultrasonic welding, heat stake
- Experience in cycle time calculation and production bottleneck improvement
- Experience in pad printing, inject printing & barcode/label printing
- Experience in shop floor layout design
- Experience in jigs/fixtures’ designing, manufacturing and validation
- Experience in WI preparation
- Fluent written & Oral Mandarin Chinese and English required
- Good communication skill with internal and external team
Responsibilities
Responsible for manufacturing Working Instruction edit to each station, including Pad Print, Inkjet Print, Assembly, Ultrasonic welding, QA test, packing….
Responsible for production line layout design according to lean concept
Designing, making or purchasing, and validating jigs/fixtures according to manufacturing requirement
Calculating cycle time to each process, designing the balance production line, continuing improvement to resolve the process bottleneck to keep the high productivity
Provide engineering support to line leaders and operators at necessary time
Process audit at production line, having the power to stop production line when finds out abnormal situation
Implement effective maintenance to jigs/fixtures, and conduct periodically validation
Responsible for providing UMC (Unit Manufacturing Cost) to each product
Lead and monitor PQC’s routine
Coordinate with other engineers to involve in project management
Reporting line – Direct to Production Manager, Dot line to Manufacturing & Quality Director
