Targets:

Join QRD team to work in R&D- projects at STIHL Qingdao.

Responsible for test set-up and test-coordination of new product developments and variant developments for electro-mechanical products. including definition of testing scenarios, failure analysis and definition of suitable improvements in order to fulfill customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to set up, improve and maintain new testing procedures for electro-mechanical products.

2. Coordinate activities with the testing department and engineering department, both inside STIHL CN and in the German headquarters

3. Evaluation and release recommendation of durability & function test results.

4. Testing coordination including planning, monitoring and evaluation

5. Develop and coordinate improvement measures

6. Evaluation of sample parts for use in (testing) series.

7. Further tasks assigned by the manager

Requirements:

1. Master / Bachelor in Mechatronics, Automation or Mechanical Engineering

2. Experience in functional testing of mechanical and electro-mechanical products. Experience with pumps and/or electro-motors preferred.

3. Experience in problem analysis and troubleshooting of both electric and mechanical problems.

4. Good communication in English, spoken and written. Command of German language is an advantage.
