SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – HUANGDAO
Due to a rapidly expanding market in China, Fisher and Paykel Appliances Limited have set up a WOFE motor manufacturing operation in Huangdao. We already have an enviable reputation for innovation in the design and manufacture of world-class premium appliance motors; we now have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join us.
What would you be doing?
This is a "hands-on" role is primarily responsible for:
- business partnering with the Financial Controller and WOFE management team
- preparing monthly/quarterly/annual accounting/financial reports, budgets and forecasts
- lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes throughout the financial cycle
- day-to-day supervision of the WOFE finance team
- preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and long range financial statements as well as management reports
- producing reports and high quality financial/accounting information for managers and other executives to support effective business management
- managing monthly, quarterly, annual budgets processes
- cash flow analysis
- monitoring of foreign currency accounts and capital expenditure
- cost accounting, valuation of finished goods, raw materials, work in progress and consumable supplies.
- support all ad-hoc accounting and financial issues
- supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and cash management
- handle liaison requirements with relevant PRC government authorities (eg: tax, customs, excise, etc) as well as bankers and Haier finance team
- ensure compliance with all PRC government as well as international accounting/finance reporting rules and regulations
- assist the delivery of business and service provider arrangement

What does it take for you to come and join us?
- Excellent English as well as Chinese
- At least 5 years of demonstrated success in a similar role within a Multinational manufacturing environment
- Appropriate university degree qualification (or equivalent)
- First class organisational, follow up, attention to detail and communication skills
- Analytical ability
- Capable of prioritising workloads and manage time effectively
