Job Responsibilities:

* To work in our Asia Sourcing organization and to cover all the assigned categories/parts and projects, independent of brand.

* Take part in the R&D process, local and foreign; to ensure that parts can be properly produced with a high quality level and at an accepted cost.

* Review component design with the suppliers to verify feasibility study, production, process control (with FMEA if needed), capacity, gauging and overall conformance to specified requirements and tolerances.

* To develop and maintain measure plans for all relevant parts.

* Responsible for supplier qualification and supplier quality management for the assigned categories/suppliers.

* Take part in supplier selection together with the sourcing team and Sourcing Manager.

* Perform supplier audits (technical and sustainability) in accordance with our standards and provide the necessary reports and follow up actions.

* Improve supplier performances in a continuous way

* Support new product introduction at the supplier side.

* Guide and monitor the production processes at the supplier side.

* Assist the suppliers to develop packing methods/material for the goods to be shipped both to the plant and overseas.

* Interface with suppliers on technical/quality issues and improvement initiatives.

* Review technical problems and procedures of departments and recommend solutions to problems or changes in procedures.

* Follow up implementations of solution until technical/quality problems closed

* To take active part in transfer projects.

* Propose Lean/sigma changes in process/product to lower cost and/or improve quality.

* Provide reports pertaining to supplier quality performance results, supplier corrective and preventive actions.

* Regular review the quality activities and monitor that the activities are being implemented to achieve quality targets.

* Arrange and conduct quality review meetings and report to the SQ Supervisor and the Sourcing team regarding the supplier quality performance.

* Report to the SQ Supervisor for any major areas of quality improvement needs.

* Maintain close and effective communication among departments, project teams, suppliers and other support personnel to improve the overall quality performance.

* Liaise and interact with SQE personnel in other our Group Companies.

* Provide information for the assigned suppliers/categories for updating of our Group data base concerning SQ matters.

* Support and report to the SQ Supervisor.

Qualifications:

* Experience from Supplier Quality Management, at least 5years.

* Experience from Supplier Audits and Supplier process improvement.

* Very good understanding of Production processes, Electronics/PCB/PCBA

* Good technical understanding, mainly electronics.

* Good knowledge about different QC tools and methods.

* Strong analytical skills.

* Communicative English, both read and writing.

* Good problem solving skills.

* Good social and communication skills.

* Good knowledge about ISO 9000 and other quality standards.

* Team player with a “Can do” and “Hands on” attitude.

* Capable to travel frequently.

* Theoretical background:

* University degree within the adequate industrial fields

* Design background of electronics is preferred.
