Responsibilities and tasks:

· Promote HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) and ethical behaviour to align with group ‘Values’

· Ensure compliance with group procurement policies and procedures and relevant statutory regulations on project procurement execution

· Assist Procurement with sourcing strategy for static equipment

· Establish technical input to Package Procurement Strategy e.g. Criticality assessment, Technical input to bidders and technical evaluations criteria

· Compile Technical Requisition & Specification for Inquiry and Purchase Order

· Perform technical Pre-Order Activities

· Perform bid evaluations and supplier selection

· Establish requirements and plan for Supplier Documents and Drawings (SDD) exchange

· Plan, execute and co-ordinate technical Follow Up Activities towards supplier

· Liaise with QC Manager on inspections of equipment

· Execute and co-ordinate Supplier Documents and Drawings (SDD) approval.

· Liaise with Engineering group on exchange of supplier SDD between supplier and engineering

· Execute and co-ordinate technical Change Control and Non-Conformance requests

· Liaise with commercially responsible on technical issues with cost or contract impact

· Execute technical Close Out Activities and technical Supplier Performance Evaluation.

Qualification and competence requirements

· University degree or professional education in Mechanical Engineer e.g. graduate Engineer, BSc., MSc. or PhD

· Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience on EPC projects, experiences in working for offshore international companies is an advantage

· Experience as technical responsible for procurement of static equipment

· High integrity and ethical values

· A team player willing to take challenges on international project

· No objection to frequent travelling

· Innovative and creative mind-set

· Familiar with relevant standards such as ISO, EN, API, BS and NORSOK & Chinese GB

· Multi-discipline understanding

· Fluent in written and spoken English

· Attention to detail

· Customer focus
