Responsibilities and tasks:

· Participate in Piping stress analyses for detail engineering projects.

· Coordinate actively with Piping design and Structural. Produce input to Piping, Pipe Support and Structural design.Analyses of topside piping and equipment arrangements for jackets, floating offshore platforms and onshore plants; management and planning of Pipe Stress activities; follow-up of engineering and fabrication phases.

· Ensure that all piping satisfy the code requirements in ASME B31.3 and/or any other codes as required by project, and that equipment loads do not exceed the values allowed by vendors.

· Production of stress isometrics.

· Preparation of stress analysis reports.

· Evaluation of explosion effects on pipes.

· Assist discipline lead with tasks as required for Pipe Stress;

· Participate in technical design reviews / gate reviews of studies, tenders and EPC projects;

Qualifications & personal competencies:

· Professional qualification as Piping/Layout Engineer e.g. graduate Engineer, BSc or MSc.

· 5+ years’ experience from project(s)

· Experience from large projects 8,000+ tons

· Experience in use of CAESAR II as analysis tool.

· Knowledge of PDMS (3D CAD) for Piping and/or Structural is an advantage.

· Good overview of own discipline scope of work.

· Multidiscipline understanding and construction understanding.

· Experience from Pipe Stress engineering in off- and/or onshore oil and gas projects.

· Experience from international projects where international clients have been partners in development.

· Fluent in the English language, verbal and written.

· Good communication skills
